"I decided to take 15 copies of LaoVision. I figured that would be enough to share. I was wrong. Many people were so curious of what the magazine was all about. After they skimmed through it, they wanted more to give to others. The magazine was especially a hit with the women. When I first walked in the hall, many of women were looking at me. I thought there was something wrong with my appearance (ripped shirt, opened zipper, boogers, etc.), but they were eyeing the magazine entitled “Lao Women in the 21st Century.” Some ladies even gave me money for the magazine. I didn't know I was supposed to collect funds for Lao Vision. I collected $15 Canadian (about $10 US)."
